Everton have been linked with a move for Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Former Hornets boss Marco Silva is now in charge at Goodison Park and has reportedly set his sights on being reunited with the Frenchman.

Doucoure agreed a new five-year contract at Watford back in August and is one of their prized assets.

The 25-year-old won the player of the season for his performances during the last campaign and his form attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.

Since his new deal, Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the midfielder with Everton the latest club to keep tabs on him.

Doucoure scored seven goals last season and has yet to get off the mark in 14 appearances during this campaign.
