Oxhey Jets battled to a 1-1 draw at Baldock Town in the South Midlands Premier Division on Saturday.

Sean Giordmaina should have doubled their lead when through on goal but he fired his effort straight at the goalkeeper.

Baldock equalised before the break when Lewis Baker netted and Oxhey were under pressure throughout a one-sided second half with the hosts hitting the woodwork no fewer than six times.

Oxhey return to action tomorrow with a home game against Arlesey Town.

Leverstock Green lost for the second game running after drawing a blank in their 1-0 defeat to Leighton Town at Pancake Lane.

The visitors scored the winner in the first half when Lewis McBride pulled the ball back and Aaron McKee fired home.

Leverstock struggled to create clear cut openings as they failed to score for the second match in a row.
