Watford are almost at full strength for the visit of Premier League champions Manchester City tomorrow.

Adalberto Penaranda remains out with a slight foot problem while the Hornets are waiting on the outcome of an appeal against Etienne Capoue's sending off in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Leicester City, but the rest of the squad is available for the match.

This is one of seven games in December for the Hornets and head coach Javi Gracia is grateful he has plenty of options in his squad.

He said: “It’s something new for me to have so many games in a short period. For me, it’s something new but I will try to enjoy it. The most important thing is to have the squad ready to play all these games. In this moment we have all the players ready and this is the best news for us.”

Tom Cleverley is back in the squad after not featuring this season due to an Achilles operation and the midfielder is close to returning on the pitch.

Gracia said: “He is training with the squad but I can’t tell you if he’s going to play in three or four games. He’s training hard and improving and we will see when he has his chance to play. I see him every day and he’s improving day by day a lot."
