Bushey Sports Club strengthened their grip on the Herts Senior County League summit after beating Chipperfield Corinthians 2-1 on Saturday.

With closest rivals New Salamis losing 5-4 at home to Broadfields, goals from Bilat Butt and Michael Ogboro have moved Bushey five points clear at the top.

It took them 12 games but Sun Sports have their first points of the season on the board after beating Ware Sports 2-1.

Sun remain at the bottom of the Premier Division but are now within three points of Evergreen.
