Tottenham will be without striker Harry Kane for the visit of Watford at the end of the month and could also be without Heung-min Son.
The Hornets lost 2-0 away against Spurs last season, but may be facing a weaker side this time around, as a number of key players look like they could be unavailable.
Kane, Tottenham's top scorer this season with 20 goals, will definitely be unavailable for the clash at Wembley, as he has been ruled out of action until March after injuring ankle ligaments in Sunday's 1-0 Premier League defeat to Manchester United.
Meanwhilewhile South Korean international Son is away at the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, who has scored 12 goals this season, could be unavailable until February depending on how far South Korea progress in the tournament.
Another player who might also be absent is France midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who was substituted with what appeared to be a hamstring injury against United at Wembley.
