Dion Pereira has left Watford and joined Major League Soccer side Atlanta United, subject to a visa being granted, it has been confirmed.
The 19-year-old has made two Premier League substitute appearances for the Hornets, while he has also been a regular in the U23s, where he scored 14 goals from 49 games.
Pereira has been on the books at Vicarage Road since he was nine-years-old and was voted the Hornets' Young Player of the Season in 2017.
Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director, Carlos Bocanegra, told their club website: "We’re pleased to welcome Dion to the club and look forward to him joining the squad as we head into the 2019 season.
"We identified him as a young, technical player who we believe will adapt well to Atlanta United and MLS."
