Watford’s out-on-loan striker Stefano Okaka scored on his debut at Udinese on Saturday.

The Italian made his first start since making the temporary switch earlier this month and was on the end of a 2-1 defeat to Parma.

However, he did manage to find the net on a weekend when Watford drew a blank in the Premier League against Burnley.

The 29-year-old created the chance by surging into the box before a melee ensued, seeing the ball ricochet high up into the air before Okaka nodded home with the Parma ‘keeper floundering on the floor.

The striker struggled for game time at Watford, making just 38 appearances in all competitions since he joined in August 2016.

In that time he scored five goals for the Hornets, two of which came in a 3-2 victory against Everton in his first season at the club.
