There was plenty of action to warm those parents on the sidelines on Saturday, as Watford FC girls continued their season on a chilly morning.

A Kimberley Ortiz hat-trick and a brace from Evie Rose kept the spirits high as the Under-9 Yellows entertained Bedwell Rangers Athletico.

Olive Mitchell scored the only goal for the Under-9 Greens in a tight contest at St Albans Youth.

Jamaica Ogilvie-Charlesworth scored twice for Watford, with Elisha Price and Verity Richman also on target, as the Under-10s played out a thrilling clash at Bedwell Dragons.

Seven different players got on the scoresheet for the home side as Watford Under-11s hosted Berkhamsted Raiders Youth.

Erin O’Connor (2), Kiahna Atkins, Sophie Birkett, Solange Brellier, Ugomma Ekendu-Obi, Zara Labastide and Sarah Zaoui all found the net.

Victoria Lussambo struck a hat-trick and Sundai Amele bagged a double in an excellent 5-1 away win at Tottenham Hotspur Ladies to give the Under-12s a nine-point lead at the top of their table.

Watford’s U13 Girls were in League Shield action against Hitchin Belles Whites. Daisy Beesening came off the bench to score twice and Maddi Armstrong was also on target as the young Hornets progressed into the next round.

Two goals from Aulona Xhema and solo efforts from Dom Derbyshire and Susan Uwaifo were enough to give the Under-15s a 4-0 win at Harvesters.

Goals from Charli O'Connor, Danielle Ransom and Holly Reid were not enough to prevent Watford Under-16s losing 5-3 at St Albans City in the League Cup.

There was also cup disappointment for the Under-18s, as they played out a 0-0 draw in the Middlesex Capital Cup.

The match went straight to penalties after the 90 minutes and Walton Casuals Ladies won the shootout 3-4.
