Only four Watford FC Girls teams managed to play their fixtures last Saturday and Sunday as the weather caused another weekend of disruption.

However, there were plenty of goals for those that did get their games on, with one team making their way into a cup final.

That team was the Under-16s, who recorded an 8-0 win over BSC FC in the semi-final of the Herts FA Challenge Cup.

Leah Knapp led the scoring with a hat-trick whilst there were braces for Holly Reid and Charli O’Connor, with Ellie Wilkerson added one of her own.

They will meet St Albans City in the final at Letchworth’s County Ground on Saturday, April 6.

Elsewhere, the Under-9s travelled to Bedwell Rangers and played some great football.

Daisy-May Bird struck a hat-trick, Olive Mitchell added a brace and there were solo goals for Drew Brady and Heidi Bekteshi.

The Under-11s were also on their travels as they made their way to Garston Ladies Jaguars.

Solange Brellier hit a double and Lexe Allaway, Ugomma Ekendu-Obi and Zara Labastide were also on the scoresheet.

Finally, the Under-10s made the trip to West Ham United Under-11s for a friendly.

Having fallen behind to two early goals against their older opponents, they recovered and struck back with an Elsa Walker hat-trick and goals from Vedhika Walia and Chase Bembridge.
