Ben Wilmot has been named in England’s Under-20 squad for their forthcoming Euro Elite League fixtures.
The versatile Watford defender, who is on loan at Udinese until the end of the season and made his debut in their 4-1 defeat to Juventus last week, has been named in Paul Simpson’s 23-man squad having made his Under-20 debut in October.
The Young Lions face Poland at St George’s Park next Thursday before travelling to Portugal for their second game of the international break on Tuesday, March 26.
The 19-year-old made six league and cup appearances for the Hornets prior to his temporary move to Italy at the end of January, having moved from Stevenage in the summer.
