Watford will be without midfielder Etienne Capoue on Sunday when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Head coach Javi Gracia has confirmed that the Frenchman has joined Sebastian Prodl and Domingos Quina in the treatment room ahead of the game after he suffered with a groin problem.

Furthermore, Miguel Britos will also miss the game with a mouth injury.

Gracia said: "For this week we have Miguel Britos with a problem in his mouth, with his teeth and Capoue has a problem in his groin.

"He has a problem and I think he’s not training with the team. I think he wont be available."

With Eden Hazard missing Chelsea's midweek Europa League game, it is likely the Belgian will play against Watford on Sunday afternoon, but Gracia said he is not only focussing his efforts on one player, although he admitted the winger is someone who could make life difficult.

He said: "I prefer to speak about the team - we play against Chelsea not only Hazard.

"He’s a special player. We will try to defend well when he has the ball because he’s always able to do something different, we always have a collective mentality to defend and attack."

Just two league games remain for the Hornets, after which they will take part in the FA Cup final.

Gracia is trying to keep his players focused on the league for the time being, with a chance of finishing in seventh place still a slight possibility for the club, although the head coach believes that playing in Europe is not the only indication that this season has been a good one.

He said: "I don’t let them (think about the FA Cup), it’s my job to try to keep them concentrated on the next game.

"It's what we've done during all the season and it won't be different at the end of thes season.

"We try to play the next two games as better as possible, it’s the best way to prepare for the last game, the final.

"The success of this season doesn't depend on playing in Europe or not.

"The players have done very good work this season and they deserve that recognition."
