It was another weekend of league and cup success for Watford FC Girls.

The Under-12s retained the Herts Challenge Cup in dominant style with a 12-1 victory over Garston Ladies Leopards.

Victoria Lussambo led the way with five goals and Sundai Amele was closely behind on four. Kayla Kilstock, Louisa Ransom and Chloe Manning were also on target.

Watford’s Under-18s were crowned champions in their Greater London Women’s League division without playing a game.

Second-placed East London Ladies could only draw their match, meaning the Golden Girls are set to be presented with their trophy on May 26.

The Under-9s ended their enjoyable season in the Herts Girls Football Partnership League, with a fixture between the Yellows and the Greens.

Kimberley Ortiz, Evie Rose and Bella Millar all scored for the Yellows, with replies from Amelia Baskiewicz (2) and Olive Mitchell.

The Under-10s played host to Ruislip Rangers in a thrilling encounter at Sun Postal Sports Club. Daisy Conway, Elsa Walker and a late Elisha Price strike helped to finish a fine league campaign.

Maddi Armstrong struck the winner for the Under-13s in their away game against Berkhamsted Raiders Youth, to end their season on a high note.

The Under-14s were at home to Kinja Youth and Charlotte Forster (2), Macey Bannerman-Lloyd and Erin Shacklock were all on target for the league champions.

The club also hosted their summer tournament over the Bank Holiday weekend.

A highly successful event saw more than 50 clubs compete in five and six-a-side football in the Under-8, Under-9, Under-10, Under-12, Under-13, Under-14, Under-16 and open age groups.

The Club would like to thank all the players, coaches, parents, supporters, helpers, sponsors (Mortgage Required & AO Property) and Sun Postal Sports Club for their support.
