Watford Water Polo Club men's second team are top of London League Division One after a win against Reading at Basingstoke Leisure Centre on Sunday.
The now table-toppers won the game 16-9 and put themselves one point ahead of Guildford in the division.
The game opened with Reading taking an early lead but Andy Holt netted his first of six to level soon after.
The next attack saw Tom Kelly give Watford the lead before further goals from Holt and Will Eggleton after second from Reading put the score at 4-2.
Watford extended the lead further to 6-2 in the second period before Reading finished on the front foot to leave the score at 8-6 to Watford at half-time.
The second-half saw Watford focus more on their defence as they looked to catch Reading on the break. They scored a further eight goals and won the match comfortably.
