Oxford United are keen on loaning Watford striker Jerome Sinclair again next season.

The 22-year-old made a temporary switch to the Us in January after spending the first half of last season with Sunderland.

He scored four goals in 16 games with Oxford, after finding the net once from 13 matches with the Black Cats.

United's manager Karl Robinson told the Oxford Mail that they are in discussions with the player about the possibility of him making a comeback next season.

"We're still speaking to Jerome, so that's where we're at," said Robinson.

"I imagine we will have answers soon."

Sinclair has made just 12 appearances for Watford since he joined from Liverpool in 2016 and has also spent time on loan at Birmingham City.
