Watford's Roberto Pereyra watched on from the bench as Argentina went out of the Copa America at the semi-final stage.
Goals from fellow Premier League players Roberto Firmino and Gabriel Jesus saw Brazil progress to the final, with Pereyra playing no part in the match.
The Hornets' winger's only involvement in the tournament came in a group stage game against Paraguay in which he was substituted at half-time.
The former Juventus man has two goals from 16 international appearances.
