Joao Pedro has spoken about his excitement ahead of his move to Watford.

The Brazilian striker is scheduled to join up with the Hornets at some stage next year and is already preparing for his transfer.

Speaking in an interview with Youtube channel Desimpedidos, the teenager said he had been learning English and trying to improve his talents every day.

"The Premier League has always been my dream," he said. "So I’m here in Fluminense getting ready. Seeking to evolve every day. To get there and perform well on the pitch.

"I started taking English classes, but with the Brazilian league, Copa do Brasil, Copa Sul Americana, it's still a bit blurry.

"I think it’s nice to speak English because that’s a life-long skill, wherever you go, you’ll be able to get along.

"In class I can talk, but when I play video games, if someone asks me something, I don’t know anything. I think this is about practice. When I go there, I have to study there, and I have to use it, I will work it out.”

For Joao Pedro his move to Watford is a realisation of a dream, but not one he expected to necessarily come true so soon.

After signing for the Hornets, the striker now thinks he can achieve anything.

“I started to practice and practice, then I started scoring, one, two, three, four… then I saw it, 38 goals. I said 'damn'.

"My objective for the year was 10 goals.

"Then the sale happened. Then I think with this sale I got more excited and more focused. My dream has always been to play in the Premier League and it came fast. And then I thought ‘nothing is impossible’.”
