Northwood have confirmed that they have parted company with manager Scott Dash.

The move comes after the side were thrashed 8-2 away at last season’s FA Vase winners Chertsey Town in their Isthmian League South Central Division game last night.

In addition, Wood were also heavily beaten on Saturday, going down 6-1 at home to Waltham Abbey.

Club chairman Ian Barry said in a statement on their website: “The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Scott for his hard work since taking over last year and wish him the very best in the future.

“The process of appointing a new manager begins now and a further statement will be released in due course.”

Northwood travel to Uxbridge this weekend in the FA Trophy preliminary round.
