Watford's Craig Cathcart has once again been called up for international duty with Northern Ireland ahead of their Euro 2020 qualifiers with the Netherlands and Germany.
The central defender is closing in on 50 international caps for his nation and participation in both of the upcoming games would leave him just one game short of the milestone.
Cathcart made his first international appearance in 2010 and has been something of a mainstay in their back line ever since and has also scored twice.
Northern Ireland had been in top spot in their qualifying group until consecutive defeats against the Netherlands and Germany saw them drop down into third.
They now face the same two sides in the reverse fixtures as they look to revive their hopes of qualification.
Michael O'Neill's side will first place the Netherlands at Windsor Park on Saturday, November 16 before travelling to Frankfurt to play Germany at the Commerzbank-Arena on Tuesday, November 11.
Despite Cathcart being substituted with an injury early on in Watford's last game, the call up suggests he is not expecting a lengthy spell in the treatment room and should be ready to play again shortly.
