Roberto Pereyra has withdrawn from the Argentina squad for the international break after suffering an injury in Watford's win over Norwich City.
The winger was substituted in the first-half of the game at Carrow Road on Friday evening because of a problem with his right hamstring.
He was due to make appearances in friendlies against South American opponents Brazil and Uruguay in games taking place in Saudi Arabia and Israel.
The Hornets have now had to remove a player in the first 45 minutes of their last five games in all competitions.
