Hayden Mullins will be in charge for Watford's game away at Leicester City on Wednesday night, the club has confirmed.

A new head coach is yet to have been appointed following the sacking of Quique Sanchez Flores and Mullins has been taking training this morning in his place.

The Under 23s head coach has guided the young Hornets to the top of the Professional Development League table this season, where they currently sit five points clear.

Mullins, who played for Crystal Palace and West Ham among other clubs during his playing career, has been a member of the Watford academy coaching staff since 2016.
