Watford's revival under Nigel Pearson continued with another impressive win, this time over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Hornets held on, despite being down to ten men for the final 20 minutes of the match, showing both spirit and resilience to move them within a point of escaping the relegation zone.

Here's how we rated their performances:

Ben Foster - 7

The goalkeeper was commanding and brave when he had to be and made some more important stops. Used his experience well to help run the clock down and got one over the Wolves fans who had been giving him stick throughout.

Kiko Femenia - 7

Going toe-to-toe with Adama Traore is a nightmare for any full-back, but Femenia is playing with renewed confidence and barely gave the speedy winger an inch to operate in. Was unfortunate to go off with an injury early in the second-half.

Christian Kabasele - 6

A solid performance again from the Belgian, who kept Raul Jimenez quiet and made some important blocks and tackles during some early pressure. Let himself down a bit with a risky challenge that resulted in a red card.

Craig Cathcart - 7

A very reliable showing from the defender, who pitched in with experience and quality and even threw in rare moment of skill to turn away from an advancing Diogo Jota before clearing his lines. Helped to limit the Wolves strikers' chances.

Craig Dawson - 6.5

Did well filling in at right back, but had a tough time dealing with Pedro Neto. Looked more at home when he moved to the centre late on.

Etienne Capoue - 7

Helped run the show in midfield and prevented Joao Moutinho and Leander Dendoncker from building through the middle.

Nathaniel Chalobah - 7

A strong showing in the centre of the park filling in for Will Hughes. Performed defensive duties well and looked better sitting deeper than in the more advanced role he was given against Sheffield United.

Abdoulaye Doucoure - 8

The Birthday boy celebrated turning 27 with a goal and a display that will have reminded some fans what he can do when he plays with confidence.

Ismaila Sarr - 7

The club's record signing is becoming more and more important with every game and he once agains showed that he is more than capable of making himself a big name in the Premier League. He ran his socks off, defended when he needed to and caused problems for Jonny throughout.

Gerard Deulofeu - 8

Took his goal very well and worked hard to create chances for himself and others.

Troy Deeney - 7

Used his experience to run the game down in the closing stages, winning corners and free kicks and preventing Wolves from getting the ball to create chances. Still a little off the pace, but getting better with every game.

SUBS

Jose Holebas - 5

Adama Traore found life noticably easier after Holebas came on in place of Femenia. Lacking match-fitness.

Adam Masina - 6

Defended well after coming on and more than helped the side close the game out.

Roberto Pereyra - N/A

Joined the game too late to make an impact.
