Michael Oliver will be the referee for Watford's game against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday while Martin Atkinson will oversee the Tuesday night trip to Aston Villa.

Oliver last took charge of a Hornets match at St Mary's this season when Watford lost 2-1 to Southampton in Quique Sanchez Flores' last game as head coach.

He also refereed the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley last season when the Hornets came from behind to beat Wolves 3-2 in extra-time.

Oliver will be assisted by Simon Bennett and Stuart Burt, while Tim Robinson will be fourth official and Kevin Friend will be VAR.

Meanwhile, Atkinson will also be refereeing his second Watford match of the season next Tuesday evening when he takes charge for the away game at Villa Park.

He last officiated the Hornets in the goalless home draw with Crystal Palace last month.

Prior to that, Atkinson took charge for two Watford games last season, including the 2-1 home defeat to Chelsea on Boxing Day and the 1-1 draw away at Fulham.

He will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Stuart Burt, while Graham Scott will be fourth official and Craig Pawson will be on VAR duties.
