Marvin Zeegelaar is an Udinese player once again, after completing a permanent move from Watford.

The 29-year-old spent time on loan with the fellow Pozzo-owned club last season and the Watford Observer understands he has already travelled to Italy after a deal was agreed between the two clubs.

The completion of the move was subsequently confirmed by the Hornets this afternoon.

The Dutch defender arrived at Vicarage Road in 2017 from Sporting Lisbon, but has since struggled to hold down a first-team place, featuring just 13 times.

He continued that trend this season when he remained completely unused by all three of the Hornets' head coaches.
