Joao Pedro scored his first goal in English football and Tom Cleverley and Ignacio Pussetto got some valuable match minutes under their belts as Watford Under-23s drew 2-2 at Ipswich Town this afternoon.
Having fallen behind to an Allan Viral goal, the Brazilian netted his first Hornets goal two minutes before the break after being set up a good run from fellow January new arrival Pussetto.
Cleverley, who has returned to training after being sidelined since the end of October with an Achilles injury, went off as planned at half-time, but the home side again went in front through Viral’s second of the game.
However, the Hornets were soon back on terms thanks to substitute Sam Dalby’s 14th goal of the campaign.
