The Premier League has confirmed the referees for Watford's upcoming games with Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Craig Pawson will be in charge this Saturday for the visit of Steve Bruce's Newcastle, which will be the second time since the restart he has been to Vicarage Road, after refereeing the 1-1 draw with Leicester City.

Pawson has refereed three other Hornets matches this season, all of which have ended in defeat, including the 3-0 loss to Brighton on the opening day of the season, the 2-0 defeat to Leicester away in December and the 3-2 home loss at the hands of Everton in which Fabian Delph was sent off.

Stuart Burt and Dan Robathan will be assistant referees on that day, while Dean Whitestone will be the fourth official. Stuart Attwell will be Video Assistant Referee and will be assisted by Andy Garratt.

For the trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham, Martin Atkinson will be in charge.

The Hornets are also yet to win a game in which he has refereed this season, drawing 0-0 with Crystal Palace at home before losing 2-1 away at Aston Villa and 3-0 away at Manchester United.

Atkinson will be assisted by Lee Betts and Constantine Hatzidakis, while David Coote will be fourth official. Stuart Attwell will also be VAR for this game, but will be assisted by Stephen Child.
