Fulham and Wolves have joined the race to sign Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré, according to reports.

Everton have already made an opening bid to sign the 27-year-old Frenchman, who is reportedly ready to leave the Hornets after the club were relegated to the Championship.

However, it is understood the Vicarage Road side turned down an offer from the Toffees.

Today, the Evening Standard is reporting that Fulham and Wolves are interested in signing the midfielder.

But French media have already reported that Doucouré has agreed personal terms with Everton.

It has been claimed that Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has made the Frenchman his priority – and that a second bid for the player is set to follow.

Last month French publication L'Equipe reported that Doucouré wants to leave following relegation to the Championship and has asked his agent to line up a new deal for him elsewhere.
