Brighton and Hove Albion striker Glenn Murray has joined Watford on loan for the upcoming season. 

The Hornets confirmed the signing of the 36-year-old this evening after he underwent a medical earlier on today. 

The England striker has scored 111 goals for the Seagulls in 285 appearances during two different spells, as well as featuring for Crystal Palace, Reading and Bournemouth.

He is Watford's second incoming signing following the arrival of Jeremy Ngakia.

The arrival of Stipe Perica is also expected.
