Watford have confirmed that Ismaila Sarr and Troy Deeney will be available for selection for this weekend's match with Luton Town.

The future of the two prized assets has been up in the air since the end of last season, but the club remain confident they will be able to hold onto both.

Sarr has been the subject of interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, but no concrete offer has been submitted yet and the club are standing firm on their stance that only a mammoth offer would persuade them to part ways.

Deeney may be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in, but with a stagnant transfer market affected by the coronavirus pandemic, it is looking increasingly likely that he might stay.

Watford have also confirmed that both Etienne Capoue and Roberto Pereyra will be moving on, while Gerard Deulofeu and Danny Welbeck could stay, with returns to full training approaching in the near future.

A statement on the club website reads: "Enthusiasm grows over the imminent return to action of club captain Troy Deeney and Ismaïla Sarr, both of whom are training with the first-team group and available for selection this Saturday.

Étienne Capoue and Roberto Pereyra are not in Head Coach Vladimir Ivić’s first-team squad, given both players have requested a transfer away from the Hornets. The club will confirm their departures officially once moves have been finalised.

Gerard Deulofeu and Danny Welbeck are both nearing a return to full training, while other injured senior professionals continue to work through specific rehabilitation programmes."
