Roberto Pereyra has left Watford and rejoined Italian side Udinese.

The Hornets confirmed that the Argentine winger's future was to be away from Vicarage Road on Wednesday, when they announced that both he and Etienne Capoue would be departing after handing in transfer requests.

Watford Observer:

The club stated: "Étienne Capoue and Roberto Pereyra are not in Head Coach Vladimir Ivić’s first-team squad, given both players have requested a transfer away from the Hornets. The club will confirm their departures officially once moves have been finalised."

Pereyra has since completed a move back to the fellow Pozzo-owned club from whom he joined Juventus in 2014, initially on loan and then permanently.

The 29-year-old moved to Watford in 2016 and went on to make 115 appearances in all competitions, scoring 18 goals.

He scored his final goal for the Hornets against Everton in a 3-2 home defeat in February.
