Ben Wilmot celebrated his first international goal as England Under-21s avoided another scare against Andorra to eventually prevail 3-1 at Molineux.
The Watford defender put Aidy Boothroyd’s side back in front shortly after the interval when he headed home a Dwight McNeil corner from close range.
Curtis Jones had opened the scoring but Christian Garcia’s spot-kick hauled the plucky visitors level at the break as they threatened another upset after last month’s 3-3 draw.
A Callum Hudson-Odoi penalty wrapped up the points for the Young Lions, who could have won by a wider margin as Rhian Brewster hit the post and Jonathan Panzo saw a header cleared off the line.
An excellent delivery from @dwight_mcneil99.

England won Group Three last month to book their spot at Euro 2021 and extended their unbeaten run of qualifying matches to 44 ahead of Tuesday’s final game against Albania.
This was the 21-year-old Hornets defender’s second cap for the Under-21s as he continues his progress through the national age group sides, having also played at Under-19 and Under-20 level.

Hornets teammate William Troost-Ekong would have expected to be celebrating an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying victory after Nigeria breezed into a 4-0 lead against Sierra Leone inside the opening 30 minutes.
Although the visitors pulled one back before the break, Nigeria would still have been confident of securing the points. However, Sierra Leone scored three times in the final 18 minutes to snatch a dramatic 4-4 draw.
Previously, Ismaila Sarr had played for 72 minutes as Senegal beat Guinea Bissau 2-0 in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
