Xisco Munoz is happy with the work rate from his Watford players this week in the build up to their FA Cup clash with Manchester United.

The Hornets travel to Old Trafford this evening looking to cause an upset on their way to the fourth round of the competition.

After a disappointing defeat to Swansea last weekend, the Spaniard said he has had a good week with his team.

"It was perfect. When you have time with all the players, it's very good," said Munoz. "I want to say the players gave me a very good week, they worked very hard, I'm very happy with them. And we need to continue. This is our way. It's important when we have time we get to know more about what is our team because we don't have too much time.

"I'm happy with the guys because they gave their maximum these last few weeks."

Munoz knows that hard work alone will not be enough to get past Manchester United this evening.

He has called for his team to be ambitious and to also enjoy the occasion, as they go head to head with a side pushing for the Premier League title this season.

"First of all, it's important we give our ambition and give our maximum for our club," he said. "We want to play and most important is that we enjoy it. We have big respect for the cup and we will fight and we will try to win this game. We know that we have in front of us a big club and big players, but we need to continue. We go there with maximum ambition and we will try. Why not?"
