Xisco Munoz has urged his Watford team to take their home form on the road with them after they beat Barnsley 1-0 at Vicarage Road.

The head coach knows that away from home this season, things have not been quite as positive and that it could be the difference between them achieving their goal of promotion, or staying down in the Championship.

With an important game at Stoke City coming up on Friday night, the head coach knows now is the best time for them to start picking up points away from the Vic.

"It's a good win for us because it's not easy every time to take the points," said Munoz. "And I'm really happy with the players because every time when we are at home, we have the chance to take points. And now we need to change when we play away, but I'm really happy with the results at home."

Munoz was also pleased to see his side keep yet another clean sheet at Vicarage Road.

He hopes they can continue to be as consistent as they have been of late in defence, with his team shutting out their opponenets in all of their first three home games since he was put in charge.

"This is the most important, when we're every time not receiving goals," he said. "I think the players give their maximum and I think this a plus.

"I'm very happy with them because they have the responsibility for not receiving the goals, and today had in front a big team with a high intensity. But our team gave the same intensity and the big talent and I'm happy with them.

"Now we have the next game and it's important."
