The 30-year-old, who celebrates his birthday tomorrow, has made more than 300 appearances in a professional career that started at Plymouth Argyle.

Capped at England level from Under-17 to Under-21, transfers to Everton and Newcastle United followed before Gosling moved to the south coast in 2014.

Gosling made a total of 192 league and cup appearances for the Cherries, 18 of which came this season, and scored a total of 22 goals.
