Xisco Munoz described winger Ismaila Sarr as a "special man" after he impressed once again in Watford's 2-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers.

While striker Andre Gray took most of the plaudits for scoring the goals that secured the victory, Sarr did more than his fair share of the work as well, combining well with Tom Cleverley and Kiko Femenia on the right and running Joe Jacobson ragged.

Speaking after the match, the head coach said the work he saw out on the right hand side was impressive and that keeping Sarr fit was important for the rest of the season.

"Sarr every day is a special man," said Munoz. "He is a very good player, he is a top player, and all the time gives all the best for the team.

"I'm lucky I have one player with this level in our squad and the most important is we need to continue to enjoy with him."

Asked about Sarr's potential, Munoz said: "He has everything. You know I think with Kiko he has a good combination, they have very good things. They are fast, they understand when they need to close. Also today, he tried to shoot, he worked inside, outside, he had different space.

"It's difficult to stop him. Sometimes he comes from one side, sometimes from the other said and, for me, is a top player."

The head coach is aware that Sarr's performances will be impressing people from other clubs as well and, following interest from Liverpool, Manchester United and Crystal Palace in recent transfer windows, it is entirely possible that offers will arrive again come the summer.

However, Munoz said he is not worrying about that just yet and believes Sarr will not be distracted by any potential move.

"This is life," he said. "Right now we are not thinking about this, we are thinking about the side giving their best for our game. He is a big professional and he gives the best for us.

"But this is normal. All the top players have big chances, and we will see what happens in the summer."
