Xisco Munoz played down the severity of a back injury picked up by Watford left-back Adam Masina in yesterday's game and said it was "nothing important".

The defender was substituted during the 3-0 win over Birmingham City after slumping to the ground, but told the head coach afterwards he was not too concerned.

"He had a little pain in the back and so I asked after the after the game, he told me it's nothing important," said Munoz. "I don't know if he was tired or not. But I think it is nothing important.

"I will say it's better if you ask the doctor because sometimes, to me, they say it's nothing and after maybe have a little problem, but it's nothing important."

Munoz also provided an update on defender Christian Kabasele, who again was not included in the squad, despite returning to full team training.

The head coach said he was taking a cautious approach with the Belgian's return to the team.

"Kaba is important also for us, but it's important like with Isaac [Success] we have an important plan for him. We want good things for him, but we need to control the training for him and we will see.

"It's important to have all the best for the players, and after when they stay in the first XI or if they come with the 20, it's important that they are fit and they are 100 per cent ready to give everything."
