Watford midfielder Domingos Quina has said he is unsure where his future lies, but that he would like to play for a team that wins trophies.

The youngster was sent out on loan to Granada in January following a difficult start to the season in the Championship, after which he told the Watford Observer he had wanted to stay with the Hornets before his mind was changed by conversations with other people at the club.

Clubs in Spain and England are reportedly monitoring his situation and, speaking to the Mail the 21-year-old said he was motivated by the idea of competing for silverware in the future.

"I've not thought about the future, at the moment I'm still a Watford player. I have one more year left with an option," said Quina.

"All I know is that I have to go back because with Granada there is no option to buy.

"It's really nice to hear all of the interest in me and it is one thing that keeps me motivated because I want to be the best I can be and play in a team that wants to win trophies.

Watford Observer:

"That keeps me driving forward. But I don't let it get into my head. Even though I'm young, I've experienced a lot so far about clubs wanting me.

"Speaking to this person, that person - so I don't focus on any of that stuff and don't really talk about it. I just want to keep my mind on football."

Since his arrival in Spain, Quina feels he has turned a corner and started to become a more important player.

He hopes he can continue to have a bigger impact on games.

"The way I started here is the way I want to be playing. Affecting games scoring goals, getting more assists," he said.

"Before I would just say to myself 'I want to play and do my best' - but now I'm thinking 'how can I affect the game, what can I do to get an assist, what can I do to score'. I'm really happy."
