Watford put themselves on the brink of promotion back to the Premier League with a massive 1-0 win over Norwich City.

Here's how we rated the players' individual performances.

Daniel Bachmann - 7.5

Did everything that was needed of him, but he probably had a quieter night than he might have been expecting.

Craig Cathcart - 8

Stepped up to produce a huge performance out of position at right back. Even got forward and whipped some dangerous looking balls into the box.

Francisco Sierralta - 8.5

Hardly let anything get past him. Solid.

William Troost-Ekong - 8.5

Made some huge tackles and vital blocks. Another big performance.

Adam Masina - 8

Shook off his injury and played superbly down the left.

Will Hughes - 8

Vintage Will Hughes - regain possession, pick a pass, start an attack, repeat.

Tom Cleverley - 8.5

Phenomenal return, made even more impressive by the length of the absence that proceded it.

Dan Gosling - 8

Missed a load of good chances in the first half, but never gave up and took his chance with aplomb, despite looking exhausted by half time.

Ismaila Sarr - 8.5

Better finishing might have given him a couple of assists. Another terrific showing.

Ken Sema - 7.5

Didn't create as much as Sarr, but still caused problems.

Joao Pedro - 7

A much better performance than we've seen from him of late, but is not quite back to his best just yet.
