Watford left back Adam Masina has been named in the EFL Championship team of the season!

Signed from Italian outfit Bologna in 2018, the Moroccan international has cemented himself as a standout player at Vicarage road ever since.

The 27-year-old is the Hornets only representative in the Championship team of the season, despite the side having already secured promotion to the Premier League with two games to go.

Masina made 23 league appearances, helping the team to 17 wins and a whopping 14 clean sheets while bagging two important goals in the process.

First-placed Norwich are the most represented side, with four players being selected for the honour: Teemo Pukki, Max Aarons, Grant Hanley, and Emi Buendia – who was named player of the season.

The Canaries manager Daniel Farke was named manager of the season while Reading’s dynamic Michael Olise was named young player of the season.
