Xisco Munoz does not think Joseph Hungbo's injury, picked up during his side's defeat to Brentford, is a serious one, but said the club needed to learn more.

The head coach also thanked Tom Cleverley for his efforts in the match, before the midfielder became the second player to depart during the first half with an injury.

"I wish him all the best, I think it's not an important injury, this is the most important," said Munoz about Hungbo. "We need to learn about the situation, we need to know more about this and continue working for the next game.

"The last game [Cleverley] finished with a little problem in the muscle and today he gave the maximum for team and he tried.

"Sometimes we have the players playing like supermen, but also they are people, and sometimes the body says stop, you know, and only I can say thank you because he tried to give for the best for the team."

Munoz reiterated that he was not too disappointed with his team's performance despite the result and said they had given good "force" in the last four months to seal promotion.

"Sometimes [defeats] happen and we need forget this game," he said. "We need to continue to work very hard and I can say congrats for my players because I'm not forgetting what is the force they gave for the last four months."
