As the summer progresses Watford's search for squad reinforcements has had them linked with several players already.

Kwadwo Baah and Mattie Pollock are already through the door, while Ashley Fletcher will join them soon.

Offers have been rejected for Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson, who is enjoying a break at the moment and will resume talks with his representatives when he returns.

The player has had a transfer request rejected by the Dons, who are keen to keep hold of him for next season.

Talks also continue between Watford and Hibernian regarding defender Josh Doig.

Elsewhere, newspaper reports have linked the Hornets with a fair few other names too.

The Daily Record have claimed that Burnley man Robbie Brady is on their list of potential targets, with the player's contract expiring next month.

He has six goals from 87 appearances in all competitions for Sean Dyche's side.

Meanwhile, AS are reporting that Watford are chasing Osasuna's Jon Moncayola, but face competition from West Ham United and Crystal Palace.

Moncayola also plays in midfield and made 36 La Liga appearances in the recently concluded season, scoring twice.

UOL Esporte in Brazil have suggested that the Hornets are dipping back into the Brazilian that has seen them pick up the likes of Richarlison and Joao Pedro in recent years.

This time it is claimed their target is Palmeiras forward Danilo.

Claims of a €12million offer have been reported for the 20-year-old who has three goals and three assists from 54 appearances altogether.

Sory Kaba is another name reportedly on Watford's list of transfer targets this summer, according to the Telegraph.

The club do need a striker and the Guinean international scored 14 goals in all competitions this season for FC Midtjylland.

Swansea and Middlesbrough are also reported to be interested.

The Hornets have also been linked with Sheffield Wednesday defender, Osaze Urhoghide and Newcastle United's Jacob Murphy.
