Watford will find out next week which, if any, of their August Premier League matches will be shown on TV, while two of their December games have already been chosen.

Following the announcement of the fixture list, the first set of broadcast choices will be announced in due course, with matches to be shown on Sky Sports, BT and Amazon Prime this season.

No games will be broadcast live on the BBC as they were last season, with their rights restricted to radio commentary and highlights on Match of the Day.

The Premier League confirmed this morning that the first set of games selected for broadcast will be announced on Monday, June 21.

A statement read: "This season will see 200 matches shown live in the UK by partners Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon Prime Video.

"Broadcast selections for the month of August will be announced by Monday 21 June 2021.

"The Premier League’s UK live radio partners, BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT, will continue to present the action across each weekend, including the 15:00 slot on Saturday afternoons."

Two of Watford's games have already been confirmed for broadcast on Amazon Prime, who will be showing all fixtures currently scheduled for the midweek round at the beginning of December, and the late December midweek round between the Boxing Day bank holiday and New Year's Day, on December 28.

This means Watford's home fixtures against Chelsea and West Ham United will be shown on the streaming platform.
