Watford's Premier League preparations continue with the club interested in Genk striker Paul Onuachu.

A goalscorer remains high on the transfer wishlist, with options up front thin on the ground for the time being.

The Nigerian's impressive form with the Belgian side has also drawn interest from Arsenal and West Ham, as he scored 29 in 33 in the Jupiler League last season and 35 from 41 games in all competitions.

Transfer website Transfermarkt has the player valued around the £18million mark.

The 27-year-old has previously impressed during his time with FC Midtjylland, for whom he scored 74 goals from 181 appearances.

The Hornets are understood to have made their interest known to Genk, but discussions are not thought to be at an advanced stage yet.

While Onuachu could be a player Watford bring in this summer, Kwadwo Baah may be heading in the other direction.

Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly interested in a loan for the young striker and while those reports are yet to be confirmed, the Watford Observer understands that the Hornets are open to sending the youngster out to develop his skills elsewhere.

Baah, who joined earlier in the transfer window from Rochdale, is still only 18 and is unlikely to break through into the first team this season.
