Andre Gray has claimed he is good enough to play for Watford in the Premier League but admits that his future is ultimately in the hands of the club.

The striker is expected to be surplus to requirements for the upcoming campaign and, with only one season left on his contract, is likely to be moved on this summer.

Gray is currently on international duty in the Gold Cup with Jamaica, while the rest of his Hornets teammates prepare for their Premier League challenge.

Speaking to the Mail, he said that he wanted to fight for his place at Vicarage Road this season but that it is not his choice to make.

“My future is down to Watford. If they want me to stay, I am going to fight for my place in the Premier League," he said.

“I believe I am good enough. But I am not thinking about club football. I am focussed on Jamaica and trying to win.”
