Dapo Mebude has left Watford and joined AFC Wimbledon on loan for the upcoming season.

The attacker joined the club as a free agent earlier this summer and played his part in friendlies against West Bromwich Albion and Stevenage.

In the second of those two matches, the Scotland youth international was taken to hospital for an injury sustained near the end of the fixture.

However, he was released the following day with scans revealing no last damage.

As part of the temporary transfer, the Hornets have the option to recall the player in January should they wish to.
