Watford have struck an agreement with Colombian side Envigado FC to sign attacker Yaser Asprilla later this year.
The player will sign official terms with the Hornets once he turns 18, which will be on November 19.
In a deal similar to that which saw Joao Pedro arrive from Fluminense two seasons ago, the striker is set to be the latest arrival from South America and is seen as a player who could have a bright future.
With Asprilla's fellow countryman Cucho Hernandez finally breaking through into the first team after first arriving in 2017, the teenager will believe that Vicarage Road does allow for progression for young players like himself, which is further backed up by the success of players like Pedro and Richarlison.
Whether or not he will be utilised straight away or sent out on loan for a few seasons to develop remains to be seen, but he will officially become a Watford player in just over two months' time.
Asprilla is predominantly a right winger, although has also been known to play through the middle.
