A group of Newcastle United fans are planning a protest at Vicarage Road for next weekend's match against Watford.

The Hornets will host the Magpies in the Premier League a week on Saturday and section of the travelling supporters say they have plans for a demonstration.

According to the Protest NUFC group, a protest against what they perceive to be a lack of transparency from the Premier League regarding their proposed takeover last summer will be held in both tomorrow night's match against Leeds United at St James' Park and then in the away end at the Vic next weekend.

Details at this stage remain unclear, however banners and paper planes are expected to be part of their plans for their first display against Leeds, as well as whistles.

A post on the group's Twitter account reads: "We are seeking #TransparencyForFans against the Premier League.

"We want #NoMoreDelay tactics regarding our takeover, just a decision either way and we want assurances that the so called #Big6Cartel aren't part of the alleged corruption.

"We all want rid of Ashley and Bruce...Leeds is Phase One.

"You asked and @ProtestNUFC has delivered as a #UnitedVoice, we've got:

- Banners in the south west corner and east stand

- Paper planes on the pitch (on 18 minutes for 18 months of delay - furthest throw gets a prize)

- Whistles in every break of play (bring your own but we'll have a few spare)

"Grab a whistle, get a banner or if not bring a piece of paper - we'll share what we have on the night.

"Going to Watford away? We've got a plan for that too."
