Xisco Munoz has backed Joshua King to end his goal drought and start scoring for Watford soon.

The striker is yet to find the net for the Hornets, but the head coach thinks he is still making a valuable contribution in attack.

Speaking ahead of Newcastle United's visit tomorrow. he said that he trusted King as the focal point of his attack.

"He didn't only play well in the last game, he played well in all the games he played," said Munoz.

"It's one thing more that he hasn't scored, but he gives other things to our team.

"I'm sure he will score soon. I'm sure because I trust him. He has the capacity and he shows us every week in training that he has the capacity.

"He will have his time, I'm sure."

Munoz wants King and the rest of his players to start building up the number of home wins again after two consecutive losses at Vicarage Road.

Prior to defeats to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stoke City, Watford had put together a run of 11 victories.

The head coach wants them to start again at number one tomorrow afternoon.

"It's the moment," he insisted.

"We will try to give a good and consistent performance because it's the moment to build this situation for us."
