Watford defender William Troost-Ekong was captain for Nigeria as they suffered a shock home defeat at the hands of Central African Republic.

The defeat was Nigeria's first of their World Cup qualification campaign, after winning their opening two matches.

They will get the opportunity to atone for their mistake this weekend when they face CAR again, this time away.
