Claudio Ranieri is desperate to see a reaction from his Watford players at Everton this afternoon, following a turgid first game in charge against Liverpool.

With injuries limiting the number of changes the head coach is able to make, here's how I think they could line up at Goodison Park.

GK: Ben Foster

The head coach has backed Foster after a difficult week, following the fall out of UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett's ejection from Vicarage Road.

RB: Jeremy Ngakia

Looked okay against Liverpool after coming on - with Femenia injured he could get his chance.

CB: Craig Cathcart

Not many options for rotation in the centre of defence yet, so I wouldn't expect any changes there.

CB: William Troost-Ekong

Needs a big performance after last week at Liverpool.

LB: Danny Rose

Had a really difficult match against Mo Salah last week but has been one of the better players overall this season. He'll be looking to bounce back.

CM: Juraj Kucka

Has gone off the boil in recent weeks, but could still be a hugely important player this season.

CM: Moussa Sissoko

Was handed the captain's armband last weekend and was one of only a few to emerge with any credit. I'd expect him to lead the team out again.

RW: Ismaila Sarr

Ranieri has already confirmed that the Senegalese man will be back on the wing today, where he is most effective.

LW: Emmanuel Dennis

There's a couple of other options for this position, but I think Dennis is the most threatening.

ST: Joao Pedro

Has to be given a chance soon. Looked positive after coming off the bench last weekend.

ST: Joshua King

I'd expect him to come straight back into the starting XI after returning to training this week.
