Out on loan Watford midfielder Domingos Quina has been told to "work harder" at Fulham to regain his place in the team.
The 21-year-old has not played in a first team match for the West London side since a Carabao Cup match against Leeds United on September 21, but was involved in an Under 23s game on Friday night.
Former Hornets boss Marco Silva, who is now in charge at Fulham, told Quina his omission was down to his work in training sessions, as well as his performances in games.
“Domingos has to work harder to win back his place,” the manager was quoted as saying by West London Sport.
“He got his chance and that is clear by getting in the starting 11 against Leeds and Blackpool, and it was not just a matter of performance, but in the training sessions as well.
“He is fit, but was not in the squad the last game – a technical decision and it was mine.”
Quina's deal with Fulham contains an option to buy, although he extended his deal at Vicarage Road until 2024 before heading out on loan.
